Lorna is originally from the UK and Glen is Australian. They met 3 years ago, in a pub in Sydney. Lorna wishes she had a romantic story to tell, but it was a random encounter in a pub!
As the months and their time together have unfolded, Lorna recognized that Glen has given her a direction, a focus and a passion for love and life… they soon welcomed little Layla in their lives and Glen popped the question, on top of a sand dune at One Mile beach in Forster, Australia.
It was early on the Sunday morning of October bank holiday weekend, when Glen got down on one knee holding their precious Layla, and Lorna’s gorgeous ring… and she said yes! Glen later said “Nice and early in the day” so that he could spend the afternoon at the pub to watch the grand final day of the NRL… did I mention that Glen is VERY funny?
Lorna & Glen stayed at the Sofitel Moorea Ia Ora Beach Resort, where Lorna’s parents and sister made it all the way from the UK to be present on their wedding day.
Although the weather in early November was cloudy and actually quite threatening, the mood was nothing but joyful and lighthearted! Who said you can’t celebrate with Champagne at 10am?
Lorna calls Glen “her big man” and gosh, Glen is super tall indeed!
They both looked gorgeous and I particularly loved Lorna’s backless wedding dress and pretty beach foot jewelry.
Layla wore a pretty aquarelle silky dress and lovely shoes (but who needs shoes to walk in the sand, certainly not Layla…).
You’re a lovely family and I very much enjoyed taking part in your special day, thanks for having me!!!
