Dani & Bruno are from Brazil and they traveled to the Islands of Tahiti for their dream beach wedding in Moorea in late December.
Those two first met on a beach in Bali where they were briefly introduced to each other, then again at another special beach, Uluwatu, later that same day. Bruno happens to be one of Dani’s acquaintance’s brother. He tried his luck by asking her out to watch the sunset that night. Although she recognized that meeting him so far from home, twice in the same day, was notable, she was busy visiting a temple and missed the sunset… it was not the right time, not yet.
When they bumped into each other at a concert of Bruno’s favorite Forro singer in Rio de Janeiro a month later that was it. What are the odds that the two of them would meet in such a big city, knowing Dani barely ever goes out, and find out that they love, and dance to the same music?
They started dating knowing that Bruno would soon be going to Australia; when Dani joined him there, in Australia, this is when they told they loved each other face to face for the 1st time. But this is in Hawaii, in front of Waikiki’s New Year’s Eve fireworks, that Bruno eventually popped the question, or rather did he gifted Dani a lovely plumeria ring, and asked her to stay with him forever, which indeed has a much deeper meaning.
Dani Dreamed Of a Beach Wedding Where It Would Be
Just The Two Of Them
She knew that she wanted to walk “down the beach” to their favorite song played on a ukulele, and that it would be magical.
So was it! As Dani approached the beach in a decorated outrigger canoe, Bruno was standing there waiting for her, with their favorite Hawaiian song live played in the background. She looked stunning in her backless dress. She was holding a hand-tied bouquet of Taina flowers (my absolute favorite, they only come in December and they smell so nice!) which were matching her light flower head crown.
The ceremony took place under an arch made of palm leaves… it was magical indeed!
You’re a lovely couple Dani & Bruno and I am so pleased to have met you, thanks for trusting me in getting the dream real!!!
