Mina & Toby live in Albany, New Zealand. They are originally from China and after Mina studied in Auckland, she then moved permanently to this beautiful country she now calls home.
Mina & Toby traveled to Tahiti earlier this year, first stayed in Bora Bora for 5 nights and then in Moorea for another 5 nights. They decided to get married in Moorea over Bora Bora as they fell in love with the warmth and beauty of a past tropical wedding in Moorea that I did on a private beach, and wanted something similar. They wanted it warm, happy, colorful, and totally private.
They were keen on having some traditional Tahitian blessings blended into a bespoke ceremony so I developed and wrote their ceremony like I always do, telling their story and the uniqueness of their couple, and co-officiated with a Tahitian master of ceremony to add the traditional blessings.
Mina & Toby also wanted to say their I do’s under a tropical bamboo altar draped in pure white chiffon and adorned with tropical flowers in white & green, which I organized for them on the beach.
Some Tahitian dancing were also performed in their honor as their wedding ceremony concluded.
We were blessed with stunning colors on their wedding day, it was truly amazing!
Thank you Mina & Toby for your kindness, and we wish you the very best in life!
